This organization came about because Apostle Dr. Ann DeCoteau, Founder of A Mother's Cry International, Inc, son Kyle DeCoteau, who was a victim to gang violence in the streets of Brooklyn, New York. In July of 2011, Kyle was shot dead and to this day, the murderer of Kyle has never been caught. Even during the time of sadness and depression that followed, Apostle Ann realized that gun and gang violence was never going to claim only one victim, but along with the victim of the crime, the parent(s) and family of the victim, as well as the family of the perpetrator would suffer for years to come. Mission: "is to support families and youth who have been victim to gun and gang violence". The purpose of this organization is to assist youth and adults to live beyond the meaningless street life that poor neighborhoods bring out through counseling, training, and advocating for these families. Our mantra has been and will continue to be, "Break Every Chain". Our motto, "Let us use our hands to do something different".
