The Alaskan Boreal Interior

The Alaskan Boreal Interior is the ecological region that encompasses the Taiga forests of interior Alaska. This short book describes the environment using photographs taken when MisterParks and his wife toured Alaska for two months. Focusing on the state’s National Parks, the book attempts to describe both the region and the parks in that region with brief stories and an abundant catalog of beautiful pictures. One section gives a brief overview of the region’s history. The book describes the ecology of the area and uses images to bring the words to life. Included are stories about our travels and a list of resources readers might use to plan their own trips to the region.
