The Invisible Woman. It is about an African American woman growing up in America with a 2 parent home that ends in divorce and the struggles the young lady has to endure while growing up and finding her voice. No one told her she would endure sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional abuse. No one in her family knew the signs and no one knew how to help her. So, she struggles through life making bad decisions due to no guidance, no one is supporting her or loving her. She finds love in her kids and she was able to teach them from her struggles. One child is an AZ Graduate, another child received her Phlebotomy Certification and she is a Supervisor at a Research Stem Cells Lab and one child receive a 4 year scholarship for Basketball and he is getting ready to go into the Air Force. Overall the mother has seen and been involved in physical violence, sexual abuse, and emotional abuse, even a gun firing at close range. I still survived! I do not look like what I have went through. I am a fun, loving, happy and Vibrant 50 year old lady and I don’t look like it. I tell people about my truth. I believe people should not be afraid to speak their truth.
