This is a reference book on the 1976 British TV series Clayhanger. Set in the Staffordshire potteries in the late 19th century, the series opens in the year 1872. Edwin Clayhanger has turned 16 and is just finishing school. His wish is to become an architect but his domineering father, Darius, the owner of a successful printing works, insists that Edwin works at the family business.
