If you were born in 2010 and after, you have missed the pleasure of going to clubs, bars, restaurants, and the Piers of the 1990s. After visiting my Godmother back in New York City, I was saddened to find out that there were so many closures. When I was younger, I would hang out in the city of New York named Manhattan, but mainly in the West Village area. I went to Christopher Street, a safe haven for gay people of every color. After witnessing the closure to every bar, lounge, restaurant, and club. I decided to write my fondest memories of my great times in Manhattan, so that future generations can enjoy and for the people that live them with me.
