When decay rises, civilization falls For years, medical researchers have worked to perfect the human body; returning sight, hearing, regrowing limbs and organs, and even prolonging life. What was once science fiction is now possible. As is too often the case, science is taken too far when they set out to bring a person back from the dead. A chaotic plague of death and destruction consumes the earth. What is destroyed is lost, but what dies comes back. After civilization has decayed into a society of rot, the survivors must join together to fight for control of a world overrun with the dead. Jonathan, the son of one of the medical researchers responsible for the undead epidemic, is left to survive on his own when his father is lost in a sea of death. Now he must use his knowledge, and the help of his new friends, to bring a stop to the plague that is destroying the world.
