A personal insight into the life of a convicted felon. Wayne Walcott grew up in Texas, in a very poor dysfunctional home, and his upbringing was that of tough earned love. As a child, he had a father who looked after him, but he longed for acceptance and love from his mother. Oftentimes he felt he was living in a home he didn’t belong or wasn’t welcome in. His story goes on to explain many events that brought him to live his young years as a criminal; his heart-wrenching stories of life on the run, in juvenile hall; and why by the time he was 27 years old, he had already spent 10 of those young years behind bars, in a prison cell. Eventually, he realized something very special, life is worth living! It was this realization that helped him to change his ways. He decided he was finished with that life, and he wanted to help others to not make the same mistakes he did.
