Everything about their world is weird. Currency rests in the hands of tech billionaires, cybernetic body parts are sold on the black market, and the only way to flee poverty in the city is by living underground - or braving the artificial trees that hunt down all technology other than themselves. Weirder yet, the sun hasn't broken through the clouds for five hundred years, and an ancient city thought to be destroyed just as long ago may hold the secrets to who's really in control. It will be up to a ragtag group of heroes, gangsters, underpaid employees, college students, and even crying children to save their world from the greed that threatens to consume it.
