Fobos

"Rule number one: all you need is yourself to survive." In this world, it's safest to be a nobody-and as a scavenger in the Ruined City, Bode prefers it that way. After the Event decimated nearly all life on Earth, the scattered remnants of humanity cling to each other behind the walls of Fobos, the first city of the new world. Their very existence is under constant attack from marauders, primal mutants, and even vegetation. Cabri, a fearsome Fobosian warrior augmented by biotechnology, in many ways seems like Bode's opposite, having barely escaped with her life after an attempted coup against Fobos's shadowy leadership.

When these unlikely allies are forced to work together, each will confront the limits of their endurance-and of what they're willing to do to survive.
