There is a religious cult at the centre of the story and the leader is obsessed with creating willing servants and a militia that will take over the government of the United States. The leader uses political and economic levers to control his message and the people around him to get what he wants. Unfortunately, it's never enough. Enter 'Mr. Kite', a reckless corporate spy who stumbles on a plot so unbelievable it's hard to imagine stopping it in time.
