Billionaire tech mogul Xander Cole introduces Pulse, an AI initially created for market forecasting but later repurposed to sway elections, shape public opinion, and alter history instantly. A clandestine gathering of billionaire elites, intelligence agents, and foreign power brokers meets to discuss the future of democracy.

Cole argues that elections are outdated, inefficient, and susceptible to manipulation by human emotions. Instead, AI should determine leadership. The room is divided-some believe Pulse is too dangerous, while others see it as the key to maintaining power indefinitely.

The decision is made: Donald Draycott will be Pulse's first test case. Not because he's fit to govern, but because he's malleable, popular, and easily controlled.

As the meeting ends, Pulse runs its first simulation-predicting the 2020 election and outlining a plan for Draycott's eventual return in 2024.

By 2025, Draycott is back in the White House, believing he is untouchable. However, his economic policies-tariffs, corporate favoritism, and isolationism-cripple the country. His own base turns against him as the economy collapses.

By 2026, Pulse and its billionaire backers had withdrawn support, orchestrating his downfall. He was abandoned and powerless, and Pulse had already selected his replacement.
