This interactive book allows readers to play tic-tac-toe against the book itself. Players can either allow the book to make the first move or take the initiative themselves. If the book makes the first move, it is randomly selected by flipping through the top-right page corners which are marked with letters corresponding to the playing grid. A random selection for a book response can also occur during games to create more variation. The books comes with a special tool that translates between the reader's playing grid (using letters) and the book's response (using numbers). No specialist knowledge of mathematics is needed but it does require (and it might develop) a degree of focus to follow the logic through.

Features

  • Limitless variations of gameplay

  • No mathematical knowledge required

  • Can be used in educational settings to impart logical reasoning techniques, or played just for the fun of it.
