Sometimes even suicide seems like an answer.
The book is categorized into three parts which overall depicts that indeed "the night is always dark before the first break of dawn"
Part 1 = the reality of living with a deteriorating mental health. It confronts the feeling of being all alone and misunderstood by finally reaching out to say "this is that I'm dealing with. Please help me."
Part 2 = "I wish I said" this part confronts the regret of lost time and lost attempts of reaching out while simultaneously highlighting the regret of not being able to save yourself and the hate it breeds. It also show a way that healing might come about to an individual. These poems are written as dairy entries to give emphasis and validate these feelings.
Part 3 = this part highlights all that comes with healing. The relief, the joy and the return of one's will of life. This part highlights hope finally restored and the enormous light at the end of the tunnel.
