The Mass Killing in Nazi Germany

During the holocaust in Nazi German approximately six million Jews died. What is not frequently mentioned is that millions of non-Jews were also murdered, perhaps enough to nearly double the total. With numbers approaching or exceeding ten million victims the scale of the extermination was horrific. The question this paper seeks to answer is: why did this happen?
