Heart of the Few is an intricately woven tale of spies, betrayal and high cinematic drama where the fate of a nation is at stake with a gripping love story containing unforgettable characters that will remain in the reader’s heart long after the last page is closed.

In the summer of 1940, as Britain prepares for an invasion that may come at any moment, an unknown traitor roams the halls of Westminster Palace. The target: secrets which will allow the destruction of England’s prized radar system and allow the invasion to begin.

Fighter pilot Jamie Wallace had never seen himself as brave, but when the war begins, he knows he owes it to his country to enlist–even though his family is still grieving the disappearance of Jamie’s older brother at Dunkirk. To Jamie’s surprise, he finds that even though fear grips him every time he flies a plane, his role in the war effort will prove to be much bigger than he–or his father–could have ever imagined.

Lady Livy Ashford, the daughter of one of Churchill’s most trusted intelligence officers, is smart, beautiful, headstrong and determined to do her part for England. Against orders from on high, she gets herself assigned to work with a film crew documenting the war on the home front. On assignment on a British airfield with the film crew, she finds herself in the midst of a bombing raid, only to have a young RAF pilot land on top of her in a trench as he bails from his plane and dives to safety. As the war unfolds and Livy and Jamie’s paths continue to cross, their connection begins to feel inevitable, the barriers of war and class forgotten.

When Livy’s father learns that a deeply embedded web of spies is seeking plans to the British radar system that he designed, he must confide in Jamie and Livy and enlist their help in getting the plans to safety. Forced to go on the run, the two must rely on nothing but their wits, their bravery, and each other to evade their pursuers and keep their nation’s defenses from falling into enemy hands.
