A Treacherous Hustle: Hitting a Lick for the love of a Pimp

Falicia Blakely is born into a family bursting at the seams with dysfunction. Just as she is getting used to living with her grandmother in Jacksonville, Florida, the feisty fifteen-year-old is suddenly uprooted and sent to live with her mother in Atlanta, Georgia (ATL). Immediately,
mother and daughter go head-to-head because Falicia has major problems making the adjustment. Most times, her mother is unaware and emotionally unavailable, which makes it easy for Falicia to get wrapped up in the dangerous streets of ATL, a place where life moves too fast and too furious for the naive, troubled teen. Driven by the almighty dollar and the bright lights in the ATL, Falicia grows even more rebellious and meets a slick-talking pimp who lures her into a career as an exotic dancer. Falicia believes she has one up on the game until she encounters Mike, a hardcore hustler who teaches her the true meaning of a beast in these streets. Soon Falicia and an accomplice commit an atrocious evil-a triple homicide. All too late Falicia realizes that manipulation, murder, and mayhem were all created by a savage who still freely roams the streets of Atlanta today.
