This book brings out the Truth of the knowledge that Lord Jesus Christ is the only high Priest and mediator between God and man, and there is no salvation except in Him and by Him. It also lays out a clear picture of sacrifices and oblations offered in the Old Testament period and as to how they were foreshadows of the substance that was revealed in the New Testament. It also presents as to how they were related to the spiritual sacrifices and oblations offered in the New Testament While the priests in the Old Testament period offered sacrifices of animals that reminded them of their sins incessantly, we in the New Testament period, are so blessed that we do not need to offer animal sacrifices. The study of high priest, priests and their service in the Tabernacle, and the offerings and sacrifices that they had offer year after year on behalf of children of Israel, it helps us to appreciate the freedom we enjoy in Christ.
