What would you do? Life had been pretty normal until that terrible night. Idris and Cal are on the run from the government . . . and an alien. They might survive with the help of a strange drunkard named Mac.

Hot on their trail is the secret government agent, Murdoch, who is tasked with ensuring that no survivors or evidence could otherwise jeopardize the confidential agreement between the two worlds.

Elsewhere, James has begun to carry out his plans for Earth's and humankind's extinction. Earth, it seems, is due for overwhelming destruction, and humanity has no hope of survival in this elaborate game of cat and mouse.
