This book grew out of the challenge of turning a hike in Portland’s Hoyt Arboretum into an Airbnb Experience. Intrigued by the concept, the idea was to offer a guided visit through the lovely 188 acre park that’s less than a mile from downtown.But there was a catch. To be listed on Airbnb’s website, it had to be a life-changing event. Locals have used the park’s beautiful trails as an extended backyard since before WWII.
