Bobby and Benjamin Bunny live with Mother Rabbit under a big oak tree in Willow Valley. For Christmas, they are busy writing letters to Santa. The bunny brothers each want a toy train just like Tom Turkey’s. Mailing their letters to Santa, each bunny is hopeful that he will get the toy of his dreams. When Santa arrives on Christmas Eve, Bobby hears him. Getting up, he hides behind the big green chair in the living room. Seeing Santa pull out two toy trains, gets Bobby so excited that he flips over the chair and Santa steps on one of the trains. Santa tries to bend back the train but it breaks in two. Next Bobby tries taping it to no avail. Since Santa is out of trains, Bobby suggests that his brother would like a pirate ship while he will take the train. Bobby then reads a note from Santa and puts on a magical hat that Santa left for him in his stocking. Bobby and Benjamin both learn that Christmas is about giving to others.
