From the back cover. We have work to do. Sometimes it takes an outsider to call-out the obvious. In this case, the need to re-direct the political noise towards outcomes, specifics, priorities and data - using pragmatism and common-sense values to move forward. This book is a deliberated call-to-action to re-engage our common-sense: mostly a specific agenda for the federal government, but also considerations for the broader population. It’s a path forward. Not interested in casting blame or fault because we are where we are. Nor interested in promoting a particular political platform. It’s the decisions and actions we take now that matter. For we have work to do, and we need to get on with it.
