Coffee Break: Let the Truth Sting

At different stages, life can be hectic, demanding and outright overwhelming. The pressures of trying to find our place in middle school, being true to our identity through high school, maintaining good judgment in college, using wisdom in the workplace, choosing to remain single with confidence or becoming a supportive spouse, learning to be a loving parent, evoking change in our communities, keeping peace with other countries, preserving cultural morals and values, securing our future to age gracefully all while discovering and unveiling our individual purpose for living can lead to brokenness if we never take a break. Whew, a break is even needed in that statement. Everyone deserves a moment to pause for the cause as breaks are a necessary quality for life. Taking a break helps us become more grounded. In the break of time, we receive the fundamental tools and strength needed to continue onward. Need a break? I believe that accepting God’s truth of who He created us to be makes us free and one person’s truth leads to another’s.
