This survivor anthology is an example of resilient women who have chosen to step forward and say enough is enough! I’m no longer going to dwindle in bondage. There are several types of survivor stories in this anthology, prayerfully each story can help and relate to someone in need. We’re standing together as a force to break the constant cycle of trauma that is learned and taught as a way of life. These vicious cycles is passed on from generation to generation that consume and trap us mentally and physically on a daily basis. It takes one survivor after another to show that YOU can also tell, live, and start your journey to freedom. The normalcy of trauma, hurt, and pain can cause your life to stay in a standstill of inertia. I admire all of the survivors that are stepping forward with their heart and soul to tell their truth, in order to shine light on those that feel like it is only darkness in this world.
Lady warriors, I’m so ecstatic you’ve decided to face, embrace, deal with, and let go of your tragedy that at one point or another was completely controlling your entire being. Thank you for being a shield for those women who feel unprotected and remain constantly unsure if their heart can even handle staying alive anymore. It’s important that we spread hope and love to those that believe they’re alone and feel depleted. Anyone who reads this anthology that is unsure of if you matter or not, this book will certainly give you hope that you do MATTER and you also have support. You will finally have a chance to be able to evolve into who you were destined to be instead of remaining stuck in the vicious cycle of what could’ve been. Anything that has happened outside of the NOW has happened already and can no longer physically harm us in the present, not unless we allow our minds to be consumed by what happened. For those women that are currently going through abuse, I pray that you find the courage that we know you have to get away, come and bond with your sister survivors. We too were once in a similar situations. You might see a similar situation in this anthology that you’re living in right now! Reach out, we’re are here to help. I’m proud to say all the survivors in this anthology realize that in order to move forward, they must believe God is with them, and by now, they already know they’re more than a conqueror and will not accept defeat. Remember, you’re a conqueror, you can go from victim to victor. Let’s win together ladies! God bless. Praise God We Don’t Look Like What We Been Through.
Featuring Co-Authors: Stephanie DeCristoforo, Emerald Rae, Katherine Jones, Shanita P. Williamson, Joy A. Crudup, Maggie Morrison, Roslyn Talley, Trish Romano, Angelz, Deborah Rose
