Far away in an unexplored sector of the galaxy, Yanina Zayoraine and her best friend, Koroco Crimson, have embarked on an unwise space exploration journey as seekers and discoverers of new worlds. While far from the regular shipping lanes, their spaceship suffers a breakdown of its viscatan intake port, and they are forced to land on an isolated planet to effect repairs. Upon landing on Planet Golana, they meet the local inhabitants who, by Regenten standards, are primitive in nature. However, the situation on Golana is far from tranquil and idyllic, and the intrepid explorers soon find themselves entangled in a brutal civil war that has pitted sibling against sibling and torn blood and realm apart.
