Daughter of Earth

Alizarine misses her best friend Samel who has departed on a journey to the mountains. She focuses on the piece of obsidian he left her and is sometimes able to communicate with him through that fragment. By recalling an aunt who helped her see the uniqueness and power of stone, Alizarine begins to grow into her own heritage. But nothing prepares her for the two women who plan to use her as a hostage to force Samel and his sister to give up their magical silver bracelets. Can four young people gather the powers of fire, water, air, and earth to defeat a powerful sorceress and her daughter and save their land?
