Bullied into Jail is the true story of fourteen-year-old Jane, a Canadian girl who was the victim of vicious bullying at school and online. Concerned that her daughter was depressed and possibly suicidal due to relentless bullying, Jane’s mother sought help for her at a hospital. This set off a bizarre and frightening chain of events that soon landed the young victim herself in jail. Her treatment at the hands of mental health professionals, the police and the Ontario justice system, made the school and cyber bullying pale in comparison. The names of people and places have been changed to protect Jane’s identity.
