Borrowing Time

Sam thought the saga of the firestone was behind him. But when he received a letter from a distant relative living in Indonesia, he discovered that it was only the beginning. Having inherited the firestone, passed down from generation to generation, Sasi knew as much as anyone about the powers of the stone. Poor health was forcing her to give it up and Sam was next in line, something he wanted no part of. What does one do with something that allows a vision into the past, a glimpse of the future and has the power to change lives? Is that a blessing? Or, a curse? And if someone else wants it, is willing to kill for it, would it be fitting to let them have it? There is, after all, a much darker side to the firestone.
