There, they meet Harriet Tubman, who-with a rifle to ward off pursuers and their ferocious dogs in one hand, and a torch to light the darkness in the other-guides slaves from the South to freedom up North. Morgan and Clarke encounter unforeseen perils on their voyage, but their grandma’s quilt shields them from all harm…And gives them the courage to stand up for what’s right!
