Fearful and friendless, Reilly is about to receive a serendipitous helping hand in her nightmarish life, for along with a box of sweaters she acquires- her name mysteriously written on top- comes the ghost of 117-year old Bridie O'Connair, a legend while in her ‘physical’ in the small town of Ryan. With Bridie’s eccentric mentoring (a kitten named Righteous, an ancient deck of cards, strategic deliverance of ‘comeuppances’ and other allies), Reilly will begin to destruct the bastion of fears she hides behind and learn there is more to life than simply wishing to escape your circumstances. As Reilly strives to rescue herself, one night a flash of intuition has her racing to save the life and soul of Trinity O'Ryan, the local head of the food chain, who anguishes over the loss of his little sister with cynicism and angry fists. Another ghost will join Bridie in beguiling, supporting and mentoring two humans in trouble- while adding a haphazard bit of fun.
