Every individual is a collection of patterns. Understanding and recognizing these patterns allows you to identify and know someone. Our features, speech and mannerisms are all bits and pieces of who we are, and they make it possible for people to relate to us. If you know a person well, you will recognize them at a distance. The same is true of God. The better you know his patterns, the easier it will be for you to recognize him. It is just a matter of how deep you want to go. If you can no longer find God where you have in the past, learn the unchanging patterns of God and see his hand at work in the here and now.
