Southern Crimes Synopsis Marlie Jean Cooper a 31 year old Southern Bell, living the perfect life with her husband, the prominent and well known attorney John David Cooper Sr. and their 6 month old son John Jr. In the beautiful city of Savannah Georgia, she had everything she dreamed of, a big house in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods, one child with more children planned for the future and a handsome loving, caring husband who had one of the most exciting jobs. Her life seemed perfect until one day her perfect life came to a crashing halt when she witnessed the murder of the man she loved right in her own back yard by the hands of four men in black suits. Devastated and heartbroken, Marlie realizes that she not only must gather enough strength to bury her husband but she also has to find the determination to find his killers and bring them to justice for her husband’s death. But only one person knows the truth, a young girl named Cassie Walker who has witnessed firsthand the true horrors of the Operation Little Lamb project that is funded and developed by her mother the Honorable Judge Grace Walker. With the help of Detectives Raymond Mitchell and his partner Michele Brown, Marlie will find herself deep in the middle of a twisted ring of lies, murders, and political conspiracies involving some of the highest powerful people in the judicial systems of Savannah, Atlanta and even New York City. Can Marlie find her husband’s killers and avenge his death? Or will she become a victim herself by opening doors that should have stayed closed? No matter what the truth will come out.
