This book, through humorous and serious vignettes, expresses a teacher’s heart of his years of experience with students and in maintaining a positive classroom. Also, it gives the author’s take, through poetry and prose, on a few touching issues such as having a relationship with Jesus, being an African American, especially male, and social living in America. Though the book is an easy, quick read, one will be intrigued with Hill’s style and content.
