Beyond Interim

Nine months have passed since the destruction of Interim and the shutdown of TranSend’s interplanetary transit system, leaving millions destitute and far from home. Paul Anderson has become the leader of these displaced people, but his motives are far from benevolent. He’s using his followers’ bodies to help more black shadows cross into our world. TranSend has just made its first contact with Earth since the shutdown. TranSend’s new leader, Samuel Cole, reveals that Conrad Blake, TranSend’s former C.E.O., is dead and pledges to help recreate Interim. But, can Cole be trusted? When Evan Drake, an agent for the Division of Investigation and Analysis, is coerced by an unknown enemy into kidnapping Anderson, both he and Danielle Akins, his fiance and partner, are once again thrown into the eye of the storm. If they can’t find a way to get to Anderson within forty eight hours, Evan will be dead. As friends turn out to be enemies, and enemies friends, the race is on to save Evan’s life.
