The Edge of Leadership

I have often heard the advice: "Bernard, you have to pick your battles." While I agree with this wisdom, I have also learned that when you lead from the edge, sometimes the battle picks you. The personal stories and reflections I share in this book highlight some of the most profound and impactful battles that chose me. Perhaps I had the option to walk away, but at the root of nearly every battle was one central truth: doing what was right for children.
