The military is nearly wiped out, while the infrastructure - electrical power grids, satellites, mobile phones, internet, and transportation systems - grind to a halt. Millions perish from cold, hunger, and disease. Invaders compete to carve up America. Russian troops are invading through Canada, a radical Islamic army is moving north from Mexicao, and Chinese troops control New England. AMERICA’S CHRISTIANS AND JEWS STRUGGLE TO ENDURE Most survivors are abused, starving, and ill. Many able-bodied men have been enslaved and are being worked to death. The invaders hoard food, clothing, weapons and medical supplies. A few Americans with sufficient courage and means are fleeing into the forests and mountains in an attempt to survive. AMERICA’S BRAVE RISK EVERYTHING In spite of deprivation and pain, a fearless few continue to resist. Among these is an amnesiac who calls himself C.C. His real identity is finally exposed, while we get to witness the courageous acts of others who refuse to submit, including his wife and 10-year old son, a Chinese-American broadcast-journalist, a rural pastor, a computer guru, and a retired air force pilot.
