The Fight of My Life…My Purpose and the Pain

Leanne Burke had a life that would have left many twenty-five-year-old women feeling helpless and alone. After experiencing a run of broken relationships, Leanne finds herself in a relationship with someone who makes her sacrifice much of her dignity, morality and self-esteem. Getting involved with Junior, a big-time drug dealer she barely even knew, commits her to a marriage she would keep secret from her friends and family. Life quickly takes a turn for the worse as Leanne is repeatedly abused and resorts to a life of crime just to pay the bills. Finding herself in a downward spiral Leanne vows to break free from the life that threatens to keep her in the shadows of drugs, physical abuse, and crime. Her newfound faith in God and doing what is right for herself and for others becomes the stepping stone for Leanne to begin a new life based on hope, willpower and love.
