Graham Gussin’s Remote Viewer is a two-screen installation which describes the journey undertaken by the artist to a distant location known as the lunar desert in the eerily deserted landscape of Askja, Iceland. While Gussin made his journey, a remote viewer was sitting in a London film studio being filmed in his attempts to follow the artist’s movements. A remote viewer is someone deemed to possess the extraordinary ability to track, locate and see people and places over great distances through a system of paranormal procedures. The two films - of Gussin’s journey and the remote viewer in London - were then projected as a two screen installation.
