(BH Secular Choral). Britten's much-loved Christmas choral classic is now available for performance in French for the first time. Maurice Budry translated the majority of the work, with Britten's approval, and it was broadcast by Radio Romande on Christmas Day, 1964, by Lausanne Ladies Choir. The three missing movements have now been translated by Agnes Ausseur and Jalal Zaim especially for this edition. Includes phonetic glossary (with modern English equivalent words) to assist native French speakers who wish to perform in the original English.
