Strip Search, a contest sponsored by Andrews McMeel Universal and Follett College Bookstores, invited promsing young collegiate cartoonists to submit their best work. The contest was judged by Universal Press Syndicate editors, who regularly work with such cartoon legends as Cathy Guisewite, Garry Trudeau, and Jim Davis.
