Staging Hong Kong: Gender and Performance in Transition

This text aims to present an anthropological study which addresses issues of performance, identity and sexuality. The author draws all of these issues into a study of Zuni Icosahedron, a Hong Kong avant-garde theatre and dance company, and calls into question the relationship between culture and politics during the last years of British colonial rule.
