Shabbat Angels (HC)

Something is not right in the home of Chaim Yonkel and his wife, Esther. This week, Shabbat is very different. Usually filled with delicious food, laughing children, and happy faces, this Shabbat finds the family fighting and the dinner unprepared. The Talmud tells the story of two angels, Tov and Rah. These malachim, messenger angels, follow each person home from synagogue on Shabbat and deliver a blessing to each family that every Shabbat should be like this one. If we honor Shabbat, Tov delivers the blessing, reinforcing the good behavior we have shown. If we do not show respect for the Sabbath by fighting with our loved ones, the same blessing can sound like a curse from the lips of Rah. Shabbat Angels updates this story for every family to enjoy.
