Beginning in April 1932 in Texas, it details how they came to be on the run together, the gangs they recruited, the crimes (including murders) they committed, culminating in a violent shootout in Missouri in April 1933 that left a detective and a police chief dead and the Barrow Gang poised to become nationally notorious. Artwork is black outline with grey tones. The book was researched, written and drawn by the author over a four year period.
