In this volume, the Masonic fraternity is present with the results of the author’s personal observations upon Holy Land and its freemasonry, supplemented by much reading of appropriate books. Coleman endeavored to say what is new, true and useful. Should the reader discredit the oriental theory of Masonic origin upon which Coleman’s deductions are based, all the worse for him. In his judgment, the antiquity of Freemasonry is one of its strongest claims to respect, and those who are laboring to disprove that are its enemies. Copiously illustrated.
