Report of the Experiments on Animal Magnetism (1833)

Made by a committee of the medical section of the French Royal Academy of Sciences: read at the meetings of the 21st and 28th of June, 1831, translated, and now for the first time published; with a historical and explanatory introduction and an appendix. This work presents an introductory notice of the discovery of animal magnetism, as might prepare the reader, in some degree, for a more serious study of its nature and principles, and of the evidence by which its reality is supported.
