History of Egypt Vol. XI (1904)

The eleventh of a thirteen volume history of Egypt and the surrounding civilizations. This is the second volume in continuation of G. Maspero’s work, which closed with the conquest of Alexander the Great. The continuation, by S. Rappoport, treats the history of Egypt from 330 BC to the present time. The set is spectacularly illustrated with over twelve hundred plates and illustrations.
