This book takes the reader on a steam-hauled journey from Paddington to Penzance during the golden age of steam, with many diversions throughout the Western Region along the way. This is the first in a series of book that will explore each of the BR regions.

All the photographs featured in this book have been specially selected from Rex’s phenomenal collection of over 65,000 images.
