Derby Past and Present: Britain In Old Photographs

Maxwell Craven was born in London in 1945 and was Keeper of Antiquities at Derby Museum for twenty-five years. Since 1979 he has written almost twenty books mainly on Derby and Derbyshire subjects - including A Century of Derby. Maxwell writes a regular column for the Derby Evening Telegraph.
