Touchy and Feely

Graham Masterton

It is deep midwinter in Connecticut. Widowed fortune-teller Sissy Sawyer is trying to decide whether to join her son in Florida for a winter vacation. But then her cards warn her that something terrible is going to happen, and she decides to stay. Meanwhile Fidelio Valdes, an eccentric and disaffected young Puerto Rican from New York City, and known to his family as Feely ; along with Robert Touche, a drunk and aggressive businessman who has lost his job and his wife, known to his business associates as Touchy , join together to begin a spree of random shootings. Hidden in the specially-customized trunk of Touchy’s car, they kill innocent and unsuspecting people with a high-powered sniper rifle. The Connecticut Police are baffled by the killings until Sissy contacts them to say that her cards are predicting the murders and giving her clues to the identity of the killers. And only Sissy’s psychic intuition can lead the police to their hiding-place, and a final explosive showdown.
