Stranger in the Wings: A Report on Local Non-Stipendiary Ministry

This report explores the role of a much underestimated area of ministry in the Church of England - the Local Non-Stipendiary Minister (LNSM). It includes sections on the importance and changing responsibilities of the LNSM; the role of the LSNM; the arguments for a change of title to Ordained Local Minister ; the collaborative work with incumbents and other stipendiary clergy; the vocation and selection of LNSMs; and three emerging models of training LNSMs.
