The Boy with Big Decisions

Fred is never allowed to make his own decision about anything - his parents are super rigid and controlling and have even chosen his secondary school for him, signing him up for the exams-focused Gains School rather than Browtree which is known for its sports teams and art department, much more Fred's area of interests. On his first morning, Fred is waiting for his bus to Gains when he sees the bus for Browtree also pull up - and he realises there's a choice right in front of him! Will he meekly climb onto the Gains bus or rebel against his parents and pick Browtree? The interactive and super engaging twist to this book is that the reader can make this choice, as the narrative from this point diverges into pathways that have 8 choices imbedded in them - all to do with making friends, and standing up for what you believe in, and compromising, and course-correcting and being true to yourself.
